Hybrid System
Description of a hybrid system.

Hybrid systems comprise a module unit (see Module Systems) with an additional submersible pump located in the underground storage tank. This negates the need to provide mains water to the storage tank and also allows for a much greater distance between the tank and the building, overcoming the suction limitations of conventional module units.

These units are simple to install and larger units often have the facility for integration with Building Management Systems.

Most larger commercial installations use this type of system.
